  I really wasn't expecting much when I decided to give the self defense class a try, because I had some self defense training when I was in the military. I was really surprised and impressed!! It turns out that Matt (the instructor) combines multiple martial arts techniques into easy to use (and remember) ways of defending yourself. It was great for someone more aggressive (like myself) who needs to work off some frustration. It was also great for the people (in my same class!), who were more timid by nature and had never even thought of being physical with someone. As unlikely as it seems, BOTH types of personalities can enjoy this class and excel at techniques which hopefully they won't ever need to use. I recommend it for all women and all personality types/experience levels.
